Atmosphere comes first.

I've always loved games that could completely draw me in.

Not just through their stories, but through their atmosphere. Games that made me forget about the real world for a while and made me feel like I truly belonged somewhere else.

Inspiration

If I had to choose one game that influenced me the most, it would be Silent Hill—especially the first two games. It wasn't the monsters or the action that stayed with me.

It was the loneliness. The silence. The melancholy. The feeling that every place had a story of its own.

For years, I listened to the Silent Hill soundtracks while working on other creative projects, especially book covers. Not because I wanted to imitate them, but because they helped me find that quiet, reflective state of mind where ideas came naturally.

Today, things are different.

When I work on The Morning After You, I listen to my own soundtrack—the music I'm composing specifically for this game.
It's a strange and rewarding feeling to realize that the atmosphere I once admired in someone else's work is now something I'm trying to create myself.

I'm not trying to make another Silent Hill.

I'm trying to create a world that players won't want to leave. A place that stays with them long after they close the game.
If The Morning After You can make someone feel the way those games once made me feel, then I'll know I've created something meaningful.
